How can I safely remove a tick?
Place tissue between your thumb and forefinger. Grab the tick as close as possible to the head, and using a steady, slow method, pull it straight out. Spray pet first with a good tick & flea spray. Gasoline or matches will not aid in removing ticks. In fact, you may cause skin irritations with them. |
